Information We Collect From You
You are required to provide us with information such as your name, email address, and phone number when you choose to contact us through our website. We require this information in order to respond to your inquiries and to keep track of the individuals and organizations interested in our products and services. We also collect information to manage our online client portals. Individuals seeking employment with PTR must provide us with personal information so that we can evaluate their qualifications and perform any necessary background checks.
If you upload a form or other file from your desktop or mobile device to us, we collect and store those files and/or data. Our services may allow users to save documents to third party storage providers such as: Box, Dropbox, Google Drive OneDrive, SharePoint 365 and many others offering a storage API. When saving documents externally, we send document meta data (like, name and size) along with the contents of the document to the storage provider. If documents are saved externally to us, you are subject to such third parties' privacy policy and terms and conditions. We recommend you read their privacy policies before you submit any data to them.
When you use our technical support and customer service functions or otherwise contact our support staff, we may collect information about the questions or concerns you submit. In order to improve the quality of our services, we may record support calls (after informing you during that call and before the recording starts) or support chat sessions. We may also ask to share your screen solely for the purpose of resolving your inquiry.
We collect customer testimonials, surveys, promotions, marketing events, trade shows, webinars, conferences, customer research, feedback or a similar event or occurrence where you provide personal information.
When you use of our referral service to tell a friend about our site, we will ask you for your friend's name and email address.
We collect information from publicly available sources, affiliated companies, or third parties, such as when we partner with other companies or use service providers to help us optimize our marketing activities. Other customers may give us your personal information. For example, if a customer wants to refer our services, he or she will give us your email address and name.
